Lion with Monarchs Give Back text

Join the fight to combat food insecurity and take part in the Monarchs Give Back Food Drive on the Macon & Joan Brock Virginia Health Sciences at Old Dominion University campus. The effort aims to support children in Norfolk Public Schools, the ODU Monarch Pantry, and the Foodbank of Southeastern Virginia & the Eastern Shore.

The food drive seeks donations of non-perishable items, with a goal of collecting 40,000 items or equivalent monetary contributions by October 15. Donors can drop off their contributions in designated orange bins at locations including Waitzer Hall, Hofheimer Hall, Andrews Hall, Lewis Hall, Lester Hall, and Williams Hall.

Donations to the Monarch Pantry can also be made directly through Amazon.

In addition, the effort is accepting monetary donations online.

Contributions will directly support local children and families in need, ensuring they have access to nutritious food and basic necessities.
