Members of IEM at pinning ceremony

Registration is now open for Diversity and Inclusion's next cohort of the Inclusive Excellence in Medicine (IEM) series.

The IEM program is designed to enhance learner knowledge of key facets related to diversity, equity and inclusion, including addressing biases, micro-aggressions, inequities, social determinants of health and systematic sequelae of racism. The goal of the series is to provide participants with time and space for guided personal reflection and the heightened personal awareness and accountability necessary to be a change champion. The learners will have the ability to adopt inclusive service practice strategies and critical thinking skills.

The training is open to all EVMS faculty and staff members. Pictured above are members of the latest training cohort.
