Lucy Kelly, MDLucy Kelly, MD, is a student at Alabama College of Osteopathic Medicine in Dothan, Alabama.  She received a B.S. in Kinesiology with a minor in Public Health from the College of William and Mary in 2015. Lucy served at the president of ACOM’s American Medical Women’s Association branch, organizing the executive board meetings and planning events. She worked on a project entitled “Impact of an Intrauterine Device (IUD) Insertion Clinic Program on Medical Students’ Knowledge, Attitude, and Self-Efficacy regarding IUDs” with a team that developed an IUD insertion clinic that included an informational lecture presented by faculty and a demonstration of how to insert IUDs using a model; this resulted in a publication. Lucy’s is a plan enthusiast and uses caring for plants as a way to distress.  Her hobbies and interests include refurbishing thrifted and secondhand furniture, Lucy’s hometown is Richmond, Virginia
