Angelica Hocter, MD

Angelica Hocter is a student at the Macon and Joan Brock Virginia Health Sciences Eastern Virginia Medical School at Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Virginia.  She completed her BA in Neuroscience at the University of Notre Dame in Notre Dame, Indiana, in 2020.  Angelica was selected by the ObGyn faculty at EVMS to serve as one of two student clerkship chiefs, mentoring third-year medical students during their time on the clerkship.  Also, during medical school, she facilitated educational sessions on point-of-care ultrasound fundamentals for preclinical and clinical students in MD, PA, and premedical programs.  In her spare time, Angelica enjoys making pottery, listening to audiobooks (especially mysteries and thrillers).  She did a solo cross-country trip from Southern California to Norfolk leading up to her first year of medical school.  Angelica’s hometown is San Diego, California.
