Tested fluorochromes
Please note that other fluorochromes not listed in the chart are still detectable by the Cytek Aurora, although users should check with core staff to determine the usability of less common fluorophores.
The Cytek Aurora is a tool used in our Flow Core lab to study various kinds of cells. These include but are not limited to, neuronal, lymphocytes, monocytes, neutrophils, cardiac, splenic, etc., which have gone on to support student thesis and to be published in prestigious journals.
We offer different services with the Cytek Aurora. These include Assisted Acquisition, where we help you use the tool; Unassisted Acquisition, where you can use it on your own after we train you; Flow-Jo data reanalysis, and Assisted Flow-Jo data reanalysis, where we help recheck the data you've gathered.
Samples and data storage
All samples must follow BSL-1 safety guidelines, or else be fixed. All human samples must be fixed.
The Flow Core is not responsible for the storage of user data following experimentation. Users are expected to back up their own data. All data stored on the Cytek Aurora workstation is deleted weekly.
All users are expected to follow shutdown procedures as necessary following the completion of their experiments. Failure to do so may lead to suspension of access to Core instruments.
