Medical Education

The General Internal Medicine (GIM) faculty are leaders in the training and education of medical students and residents. GIM faculty are actively engaged in teaching medical students throughout their entire four-year clinical curriculum, focusing on the latter years when students learn real-world medicine on their clinical rotations.  

As integral components of our, GIM faculty are training the next generation of internal medicine physicians, many of which will go on to become subspecialists in fields such as Cardiology and Gastroenterology.

Our faculty have won several awards at the state level for their excellence in teaching and mentorship of students and residents.
