Why I chose EVMS: As a local to the Hampton Roads area, Norfolk in particular, I was thrilled to have the opportunity to give back to the community that raised me while training to be an Emergency Medicine physician. Emergency Medicine affords the opportunity and skillset to serve a wide range of individuals with a wide variety of problems and I love that I’ll be able to offer that service to a community that matters so much to me! EVMS has a fantastic group of residents and faculty who obviously care about wellness and academics in equal measure- I am so excited to have found such a wonderful group of people to share my years in residency with.
