I chose the Dermatology program because of the incredibly supportive and knowledgeable faculty, the diversity in clinical settings and patient population, and the tight knit relationship between residents, faculty, and staff. This institute has created a culture of collaboration and encouragement with the main goal of helping you become a great dermatologist.
What advice do you have for anyone applying to Dermatology?
My main piece of advice would be to express your genuine passion for the field of dermatology every chance you get (interviews, personal statement, etc.) and support this passion with evidence such as involvement in research, volunteering, or clinical activities.
