Healthcare Management (Certificate)

Healthcare management is a multidisciplinary field of inquiry and practice that is concerned with the organization, financing, delivery and quality of health services for individuals and populations. The Healthcare Management (Certificate) is a 15-credit hour program designed to provide the learner with leadership and strategic management tools specifically for the healthcare environment.

Educational Format

The educational program includes 15 total credit hours where classes are taught in three terms per year (fall, spring, summer). All students are paired with an academic adviser.

Classes are taught online and on campus in the evenings to accommodate working professionals. There may be unforeseen circumstances such as low registration numbers and COVID-19 where residential (on campus) delivery mode sections will be moved into an online delivery mode section.

Financial Aid

Federal financial aid may be available for any term in which a student is enrolled at least half-time, subject to timely completion of the free application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Tuition costs for the public health graduate certificates are based upon the number of credit hours taken per term. Tuition is due at the beginning of each term of your enrollment. For more information, view the program's projected cost of attendance.
