Physician Assistant Fellowship in
Pediatric Urgent Care

Treat a wide variety of illnesses and injuries in children through the PA Fellowship in Pediatric Urgent Care.

Our post-graduate fellowship offers a unique six month program for those interested in providing care to children and their families in the Pediatric Urgent Care setting. With the evolving health care system, the need for knowledgeable providers and thoughtful leaders continues to be essential.

The program supports new PA or NP graduates or those interested in moving from another specialty through a robust curriculum including clinical rotations, skills-based workshops, informative lectures, immersion into dynamic clinical teams, and direct mentoring.

Power partnership

The Fellowship in Pediatric Urgent Care is a collaboration between Macon & Joan Brock Virginia Health Sciences At Old Dominion University and Children’s Specialty Group (CSG) – one of the largest pediatric specialty medicine practices in Virginia. Fellows receive a generous monthly stipend as a CSG employee.

Superior facilities

Our fellowship program is based at urgent care centers operated by The Children’s Hospital of The King’s Daughters (CHKD).

More than 90,000 patients were treated at CHKD Urgent Care Centers in the last year.
