Commencement is the central event in EVMS’ academic calendar as well as the culminating event in our students' education. Faculty play an important role in the success of Commencement and their participation is meaningful to our graduates.
All full-time and part-time faculty, community faculty, Associate and Assistant Deans are encouraged to participate in EVMS’ Commencement Ceremony scheduled Saturday, May 20, 2023 at 10 a.m. EDT at Norfolk Scope, 201 E. Brambleton Avenue.
This section provides instructions and deadlines for faculty to RSVP to attend, order regalia and more. The deadline to register was Friday, March 10, 2023. Faculty interested in participating after the registration deadline should contact EVMS Special Events.
EVMS will not require vaccinations or masks to attend EVMS Commencement.
However, due to the nature of large gathering, close contact and potential risks, EVMS supports any individual who wishes to wear a mask during the ceremony. Find current information about masking and public health protocols.
