We are pleased to invite members of the classes of 2020 and 2021 to return to walk in this year’s Commencement Ceremony. This website will help you navigate the next few months as you prepare for the big day Saturday, May 14, 2022.
Our current COVID-19 guidance does not require masking, proof of vaccination or a negative test result to attend Commencement exercises; however, please be advised that our masking policies may change with limited notice. We appreciate your understanding as we continue to navigate the pandemic and keep our community members safe during this time of celebration.

Returning Alumni Checklist
To prepare for this celebration, please review and complete the items on the checklist below.
*Registration Required: Returning Alumni, please complete each of your registration forms with the same email for checklist items that require a registration. This will ensure that your registrations have been completed correctly, prevent duplicate registrations and reduce the amount of excess communication you receive.
February
- Review Commencement website, Returning Alumni Schedule of Events, and FAQ page for important updates about Commencement.
- Register to attend the Commencement Ceremony and Returning Alumni events by Monday, March 21, 2022. *
- If you no longer have your complimentary regalia from when you graduated, please order your replacement regalia or any missing items at your own cost by Monday, March 21, 2022.* Find more information about required regalia.
- Provide your name pronunciation by Monday, March 21, 2022.* Instructions will be send to you by email.
- Order your printed Graduation Announcements. A complimentary digital invitation will be available soon.
- Secure hotel rooms for family and guests.

- Download the 2022 EVMS Commencement App. An invitation was sent to you by email.*
- Download and share EVMS Digital Resources with your families and friends to celebrate your walking at EVMS Commencement.
- Update registration for Commencement Week Activities by Friday, April 29, 2022.*
May
- Attend a New Alumni Welcome Party to network with the Class of 2022 School of Medicine or School of Health Professions graduates.
- Attend a virtual rehearsal Friday, May 13, 2022, at 10 a.m. EDT. If you are unable to attend at this time, a link will be emailed later that day to watch on demand.
- Attend the 2022 EVMS Commencement Ceremony Saturday, May 14, 2022, at 10 a.m. EDT.
- Attend the Returning Alumni Reception with up to four guests following the EVMS Commencement Ceremony Saturday, May 14, 2022.
