On Training Residents
"I decided to become (an EVMS) faculty member after I enjoyed a wonderful experience as a medical student here. The faculty are fun and collegial. The community is inclusive and diverse. The intimate atmosphere of EVMS allows all residents to practice skills of teaching, leadership, and autonomy, while developing individual relationships with their attending faculty. My favorite part of residency training is the chance to witness how each newly graduated medical student matures into a confident and successful psychiatrist over the course of four life-changing years."
