Reginald L. Tooley

Reginald serves as the Assistant Director for Diversity in Educational Programs. His role is vital to mission-centered recruitment, admissions, and support to prospective students and medical students, including EVMS Medical Master’s students. Since joining EVMS in 2019, he has worked collaboratively to strengthen and expand EVMS’s partnerships with Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) and underrepresented students pursuing careers in medicine.

Mr. Tooley co-advises the EVMS Chapter of the Student National Medical Association (SNMA) and maintains a wealth of passion having worked in state government and medical education for over a decade. Reginald earned his B.S. in Health Care Management from Florida A&M University and his MPH from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville.
