Lester Hall
Peggy Gesing, PhD, She/Her/Hers, joined the Medical and Health Professions Education programs at EVMS in 2019, and was promoted to Program Director in 2020. She is an adult educator with a PhD in Higher Education from Old Dominion University. Dr. Gesing's research agenda examines higher education as a driver of economic opportunity and social justice with a focus on career outcomes and student mobility. The foundation for her research and teaching is built on her experience at multiple top-ranked, research universities where she worked with diverse student populations to provide advising, instruction, and program management. Dr. Gesing earned a Master's of Education in Adult Learning and Development at Cleveland State University and has held leadership positions at the College of William & Mary and Case Western Reserve University.
