Dr. Brenner is a pediatrician and a breastfeeding medicine specialist. She and her partners at General Academic Pediatrics supervise 66 pediatric residents and 135 EVMS medical students each year in outpatient pediatrics.

Dr. Brenner serves on the CHKD Children’s Health System Board of Directors, as the EVMS Clerkship Director for Pediatrics, as an associate pediatric residency program director, and on the advisory team to the King’s Daughters Milk Bank. She has served on the board of directors of the Academy of Breastfeeding Medicine for the last six years and presents two annual breastfeeding workshops at the American Academy of Pediatrics National Conference and Exhibition.

Dr. Brenner has completed a fellowship in integrative medicine with the Arizona Center for Integrative Medicine.
