Matvey V. Karpov

Matvey (Matt) Karpov received his Master’s degree concentrating in epidemiology from the MPH program at EVMS. Before joining HADSI, Matt was a teacher assistant helping the students in the MPH program develop biostatistics and SAS coding skills. Currently at HADSI, Matt is the biostatistician on multiple projects, including taking on the role of lead biostatistician on the COVIDsmart study as well as Co-PI on the SilverCloud study, set to begin in March, 2022. Matt is interested in addressing the health disparities in accessing healthcare in the Hampton Roads especially among the LBGTQ+ community.
