Matthew L. Slief, MD

Matt Slief, MD, received his Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from the University of Oklahoma in 2015, followed by his medical degree from the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center in 2021. He then completed his residency in internal medicine at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) in June 2024.

Dr. Slief is excited to join the faculty at EVMS as an academic hospitalist. He is eager to contribute to both graduate and undergraduate medical education while pursuing his passions for professional identity development, clinical reasoning, and wellness. Outside of work, he stays active through golf, pickleball, and hiking. He also enjoys discovering local coffee shops and playing board games.
