On Training Residents

“I love being part of the residency program because of the people who work here. First, I have an awesome team of colleagues. Each and every one of them is 100% invested in the residents and their education. In fact, that’s what impressed me most when I was a resident here myself and made me want to stay after my training was complete. There is an open door policy all the way. I love the inpatient setting. I love the immediacy of helping people through a crisis, working with nurses and therapists, and making sure our residents and students feel safe and protected while getting the best possible training in the acute setting.
