Jennifer L. Panton

Jennifer Panton works with the EVMS Instructional Design and Technologies team to collaboratively create engaging, student-centered learning experiences. Jennifer’s mission is to support faculty and staff in developing quality curricular and instructional design, with a focus on individualized student experiences that utilize culturally relevant instructional practices. Her vision is to cultivate a culture of reflective instructional practitioners through equitable and inclusive academic processes.
Jennifer holds a Bachelor’s in English and Secondary Education from Virginia Wesleyan University, a Master’s Degree in Education from Old Dominion University and an Educational Specialist Degree from Regent University. She is currently working on her Doctorate in Education with a focus on Curriculum and Instruction. Her research interests include instructional design, online learning, culturally relevant teaching, curriculum re-design and instructional technology.
