Gregory T. Scott, PhD

Gregory Scott joined EVMS in January 2020. He has worked as a health care administrator for over 10 years in not-for-profit, proprietary and government healthcare settings. He has specialties in the areas of healthcare finance and medical logistics with board certifications in health finance and medical logistics. Gregory Scott has been a program director for health care administration programs for over nine years. He has focused on health care access such as Medicare in relation to prevention of potential future insolvency. He is a member of the Association for Healthcare Resources and Materials Management (AHRMM) and the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE). Gregory Scott is a Fellow of the Association for Healthcare Resources and Materials Management where he sits on the Fellow Review Committee and works directly with mentees for publication in subjects as healthcare finance, medical logistics and process improvement. He has experience in health finance, medical logistics, training and education, human resources, strategic management and general operations. In his spare time, he enjoys traveling, playing and watching sports and spending time with family members.
