Dr. Eva Dentcheva is a plastic and reconstructive surgeon with fellowship training in hand and upper extremity surgery and a focus on providing the best care to the Hampton Roads community. Her clinical interests include general reconstructive plastic surgery, hand surgery, gender affirmation surgery and care to the transgender community, and post bariatric weight loss body contouring. She is passionate about resident education given her own residency training at EVMS and developed the hand surgery curriculum for the integrated plastic surgery residency.

Outside of work she is usually trying to take a photo of something at the beach or on a hike, and loves to cook with her significant other.
