Dr. Kelly has been actively involved in asthma education for professionals, community members, patients and families throughout Hampton Roads.

She has been the primary investigator for research funded by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, U.S. Departments of Health and Human Services, and Housing and Urban Development.

She has also published in the area of clinical outcomes for children with asthma.

Her practice includes caring for children with a wide variety of allergic and immunologic disorders, including asthma, allergic rhinitis, chronic sinusitis, drug allergy, food allergy, eczema,contact dermatitis and immunodeficiency
