B. Mitchell Goodman, MD
B. MItchell Goodman III, MD, was born and raised in nearby Franklin, Va. He completed his undergraduate education at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill before earning his medical degree from Eastern Virginia Medical School.
He went on to complete a residency in Internal Medicine at EVMS as well. Dr. Goodman served as Program Director of the Internal Medicine residency for eleven years before becoming Chief of our Hospital Medicine division in 2013.
In addition to his commitment to medical education, Dr. Goodman has a special interest in hospital medicine and hospital systems. Outside of work he enjoys spending time with his family, staycations, and avoiding new things.
