The recently discovered Omicron variant represents the newest challenge of the COVID-19 pandemic; however, with all employees and students vaccinated and wearing masks, EVMS is as well positioned as we can be.
At this time, we are not changing our stance on social gatherings or business travel, whether domestic or international. Travel is allowed so long as it follows the CDC guidelines. Keep in mind, the CDC guidelines do change and new updates may have an impact on previously planned travel.
The most prudent course of action for EVMS employees and students is to monitor the CDC site regularly and especially as their respective travel dates near.
The Task Force will continue to monitor the situation and make announcements as necessary. The most current information will be on the CDC site.
