Human Resources is experiencing an unusually high call volume. Employees unable to reach Human Resources by phone and who have general questions or concerns related to COVID-19 are asked to refer to www.EVMS.edu/covid-19.

As a reminder, EVMS has developed two surveys to assist with risk assessment, monitoring and work restriction decisions for EVMS employees and healthcare personnel who may have been exposed to COVID-19. If you think you have been exposed to COVID-19 either in a healthcare setting or through travel-related activities or community transmission, please visit the COVID-19 Surveys page on the EVMS portal to complete the applicable survey. (Note: You must be logged in to myPortal.evms.edu to access the surveys.)

DO NOT REPORT TO WORK if you experience symptoms of COVID-19 (i.e., cough, fever, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing), have been diagnosed with COVID-19, have been in close proximity with someone diagnosed with or suspected of having COVID-19 or returned from international travel. Employees and residents must complete one of the COVID-19 Screening Surveys, found in myPortal. Once the survey is completed and reviewed, you will receive a call from Human Resources or Occupational Health during normal business hours on the next business day with additional information regarding the next steps in the screening process. You should also notify your direct supervisor that you will be out. Human Resources will follow up with supervisors. Please note you are not to report to work until cleared by Human Resources or Occupational Health.
