This approach to COVID-19 is based on the best (and most recent) available literature and the Shanghai Management Guideline for COVID. This protocol is frequently being updated with the latest information and data. This update is as of 4/2/2020. Please review this protocol regularly. Major changes (in red font in the protocol) are:
- Dose of Vitamin D is changed to 1000-4000 units
- The lung injury is not an ARDS
- Avoid intubation, allow for permissive hypoxia
- Review additional material at the end of the document
