EVMS students, residents, fellows, faculty members and research colleagues are invited to the first event in the new “COVID-19 Collaborative Research Incubator Series,” set for Tuesday, July 28, from noon to 1:30 p.m. on Blackboard Collaborate. The goal is to facilitate exploration and networking with colleagues around COVID-19-related research topics. CME credit information is below.
Edward Oldfield III, MD, Professor of Internal Medicine and Infectious Disease Specialist, will provide a brief update on COVID-19. Participants can then choose one of three facilitated breakout sessions. These breakout sessions will launch three incubator groups: translational research, clinical treatment research and population health research.
The series is co-sponsored by the M. Foscue Brock Institute for Community and Global Health at EVMS and EVMS Master of Public Health.
