Health monitoring and safe practices

All members of the EVMS community should continue to self-monitor for symptoms of COVID-19.

We are encouraging everyone to wash their hands with soap and water regularly throughout the day. Use hand sanitizers frequently when handwashing is not feasible.

Vaccination, masking and social distancing guidance

All faculty, staff and students (with the exception of Distance Learning students) are required to be fully vaccinated. All employees, students and visitors are required to wear a mask inside all EVMS buildings regardless of their vaccination status.

Social distancing is not be required in classrooms or meetings, but participants are required to wear masks.

Current campus status

• As of Oct. 25, 2021, we have achieved over 99% vaccination among employees and students.
• We continue to review and adapt our guidance based on CDC recommendations.
