Strategic Planning and Institutional Effectiveness support a business intelligence function for the Institution. The purpose of this function is to gather, analyze, and distribute information to the various departments.

The data we gather can be used for several purposes, quality improvement, data-driven decision-making and strategic planning. We believe that trusted, high quality information is an institutional asset and we would like to assist any department with making the most of their data.
Whether it is a simple spreadsheet or scheduled report, a data integration project, or dash boarding key performance metrics, we are here to help.
Request support
A SharePoint site (School's login required) is available for users to request business intelligence support.
Users can input a project title, description, proposed completion data, and if applicable, a strategic initiative that relates to the project. Users can also attach documents (mockups, templates, etc.) to the request as needed.
Once we have reviewed the request, the office will respond to the requestor and begin the process of gathering requirements, defining the scope, and developing a project timeline.
Data dashboard
A Power BI dashboard enables users to analyze reports and view all important metrics at a glance. Users can create their own tables using their preferred combination of variables. This data dashboard contains tabular summaries of faculty information, including demographic breakdowns by race, gender, rank, and department.
