Equifax: The Work Number - Automated Income and Employment Verifications
Human Resources has partnered with The Work Number® from Equifax, which is a simple, quick, and more private way to help get your employment and income information to companies when needed. It's available 24/7 to get the decisions you need when required.
From now on, when asked for proof of employment or income, send Verifiers to:

Employees may contact The Work Number Employee Service Center or create an account to access the Employment Data Report to view current employment and income information from The Work Number database.

After clicking Sign Up, select "Not A Robot" before continuing. Enter the employer code associated with your employer or search for your employer by name.
- First-time users select the "Register Now" option. You will be required to provide additional data for authentication, and you will need to complete a one-time passcode challenge. After authenticating, you will create a personal User ID and Password.
- If you are not initially presented with the Register Now option or need login assistance, call the Client Service Center at 800.996.7566.
What does the Work Number offer you?
- More Privacy: Your personal information is protected. With your consent, your data can be retrieved only by credentialed verifiers.
- Better Service: The Work Number is available to those needing your information 24 hours a day. No waiting for your lender or landlord to exchange paperwork with your employer to help close the deal.
- Consent: You authorize credentialed verifiers to retrieve your income information by signing a borrower's authorization form, applying for a benefit (such as a loan or social service request), or creating a salary key (a one-time access code).
- Security: The Work Number database uses stringent security standards to help protect your data. There are also controls in place by law (the Fair Credit Reporting Act) to help protect your privacy.
Another plus with The Work Number service is that it lets you check to ensure your information is correct. The Employment Data Report (EDR) is required by the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) so you can see your personal information and who was provided that information.
