Join us every Wednesday in March for fun, wellness, and community!

Event Schedule:

March 5 | 4:00 PM – Walk to Café Stella for Coffee
Kick off Wednesday Connections with a refreshing walk to Café Stella!
We’ll meet at the fountain in front of Brickell Library at 4:00 PM and walk together (1 mile each way) to enjoy free coffee and great conversation.

March 12 | 4:30 PM – Yoga Session on Campus
Join us for the second Wednesday Connections event—a free 1-hour yoga session designed to help you unwind and recharge! No experience needed—just come as you are! Free yoga mats & water provided!
Bring a friend and celebrate Women’s History Month with mindfulness and movement!

March 19 | 4:00 PM – Meet-Up at Just Birdies (Golf Simulation)
Join us for the third Wednesday Connections event—an exciting golf simulation experience at Just Birdies! No golf skills? No problem! Come enjoy a fun, relaxed atmosphere with great company.
Grab a friend and take a swing at something new!

March 26 | 11:00 AM – Lecture at the Chrysler Museum 
Join us for the final Wednesday Connections event—a special free lecture on Mary Cassatt’s Models at the Chrysler Museum of Art! Learn about the women who inspired Cassatt’s iconic works and explore her impact on art history.
Enjoy light refreshments in the museum lobby at noon.

The Women in Medicine and Science (WiMS) Annual Event aims to inspire and empower women in health professions through networking, collaboration, and professional development. This signature gathering brings together faculty, staff, and trainees to explore topics that advance leadership, mentorship, and success in medicine and science.

11:00am Keynote Session: Understanding and Addressing Gender Equity: A Leadership Skill of the Future

The WiMS Book Club discussions are informal and intended to discuss the chosen book and pertinent issues, as well as to build connections between WiMS members.
