Becoming a Community Faculty Member
Appointment process
If you are interested in becoming a Community Faculty member, the process would start at the department level with the Department Chair or Senior Associate Vice President and Dean of the School of Health Professions' approval and Letter of Nomination.
In addition to the Letter of Nomination, an updated personal CV or the Curriculum Vitae Template , recommendation letter and Community Faculty Information Form are required to be submitted to EVMSFacultyAffairs@evms.edu.
Once your appointment documents are received, they will be forwarded for review by the appropriate Department Chair or the Senior Associate Vice President and Dean of the School of Health Professions. A recommendation for appointment is determined and reviewed by the Senior Associate Vice Dean for Faculty Affairs and Professional Development and approved by the Executive Vice President. Faculty members will be reappointed every year or two years, depending on their rank and if they have met the requirements of the appointment.
Please forward your appointment paperwork to EVMSFacultyAffairs@evms.edu to get the process started.
