EVMS Commencement

Ceremony Protocol

All who attend the EVMS Commencement are asked to demonstrate the civility and decorum expected at a graduation ceremony for medical and health professionals. In order to make commencement a memorable event for all involved:

• Please remain seated during the ceremony.
• Cell phones and pagers should be placed on silent mode.
• All graduates and their guests are asked to remain for the entire ceremony as a sign of respect for all graduates.
• After the recessional, all graduates will take class pictures and can then join their guests.
