- Mr. Hand started at EVMS in 1981 and has never looked back. Doug is a key figure in the EVMS community and has helped build the Media Services program from the ground up. More recently Doug has taken on a new roll, master control operator in the new Education & Research Building or ERB. This building with its fully integrated, state-of-the-art audio visual systems brings a whole new dynamic to the academic environment. Doug draws on his over thirty years of experience at EVMS, to help faculty, staff and students—maximize the benefits of this new building’s technology.

Clarence A. Johnson, Jr.

- Mr. Johnson began his career at EVMS in 1975 working in the housekeeping department. Clarence quickly found a new passion—audio visual and joined the Media Services team. Clarence not only brings a solid understand of audio visual technology—but is well respected by the EVMS faculty. He is a trusted resource to professors and staff in providing end user training on audio visual equipment.

Vincent E. Liles

Additional Credentials:
- Mr. Liles started in the EVMS mail room in 1989, but Vince found himself drawn into the academic environment. He soon began supporting the audio visual of the day, slide projectors and transparencies. In Vince’s twenty plus year career at EVMS, he has been a key figure in implementing the new AV technology faculty uses on a daily basis.

Adam J. Henry

- Mr. Henry is recent addition to the Media Services team. Adam holds a Bachelors in Communications and a Masters in Education/Sports Management. Adam’s background brings a new dynamic to the team. He is fostering a fresh perspective on the role of audio visual in the academic setting. Given his communications education, Adam is specifically dedicated to supporting distance learning programs.
